About Me
I’m Nicole, the owner and lead photographer of Nicole Goss Photography, and my friends call me “Nic”. Originally from Wilmington, DE, my family moved to Bucks County, PA in 2012, and I now proudly call it my home!
Beginning as a “Mom with a camera,” I loved photographing my children (and soon other people’s children and then weddings, too) so much that I just knew I had to pursue my dreams! I followed my passion by turning my hobby into a professional business in 2005, leaving the banking industry behind after 12 wonderful years in Human Resources…and I have never looked back.
My heart sings when I am given the opportunity to serve, and I absolutely feel called to serve through wedding photography (with portraits coming in a close second)! Wedding photography truly is a service at its core.
What sets me apart from other photographers is the value I add by creating custom wedding day timelines for my couples so the day will run smoothly. This allows the wedding day to feel like a dance vs. a whirlwind of chaos with the clock ticking down, and stress taking the lead. Dreamy poses are created during your engagement session and ideas are pinned to our shared Pinterest board. Planning special things during ceremonies, surprise entrances or items to displayed during receptions, and special people attending the weddings are talked through in advance and during ongoing conversations throughout the months and days that lead up to the wedding.
My years of experience allow me to work through your list of twenty-five “must have” pictures on your shot list and still get you to your cocktail hour on time, how to kindly work around and through family dynamics that may suddenly appear during the wedding portraits, win over family members that request shots that you may not want, and when to shoot candidly from afar and when to step in and give you gentle posing suggestions so you will never feel awkward.
This is the value that I will add as your wedding photographer, while curating memories and images for your family that will last a lifetime. I would be honored to capture every moment, emotion, special guest, and beautiful detail of your special day.
