There are SO many amazing places to hold an engagement session around the Doylestown area, but I’ve always wanted a chance to photograph a beautiful and up-for-anything couple here. Casey and Nick – THANK YOU for making my dreams come true at Peace Valley Park!
I had been looking for a new location that would create that light and airy look that draws everyone’s eye these days, while also providing pops of color that define my signature style just a little bit more. Let me tell you… this setting DID NOT disappoint, and with the addition of Casey and Nick’s motorcycle and beloved dog “Chester”, it was perfect!
What also made this shoot special is that Casey is the daughter of a dear friend. I worked with her mother for a few years, and she would always brag about her children and how much joy they brought to her every day. So, when my friend showed up at the end of her daughter’s session to watch and to sneak a few peeks through the back of my camera with tears in her eyes, my heart was so full of happiness for her and her daughter!
Even though I’ve been photographing engagements and weddings and families for over 20 years, seeing the nerves turn into smiles, and smiles turn into excitement is what I look forward to the most…and it NEVER gets old!!! I’m not looking for an uber fancy destination wedding or wanting to be published in a top-rated wedding magazine… I just love capturing these special days for sweet families who trust me to capture their lives! It truly is such an honor!!!
